Ademola Omotosho, the candidate of the People Democratic Party, PDP in Ibadan North Federal Constituency has debunked the rumour that he was slapped by former governor Alao Akala while in office.
Omotosho, a former chairman of Ibadan North Local government while responding to questions on a radio programme in Ibadan said nothing of such ever happened and would never happened.
Omotosho said he was just aware of the rumours last week, years after he had left office.
He maintained that “There are three tiers of government, the federal, the state, and the local government. I was elected and everybody knows his limits, I was not among the former governors errand boys. and i didn’t overstepped my boundary So why would he slapped me
Omotosho maintained that his political journey was ordained and directed by God.
The PDP stalwarts said further that he joins PDP when it was difficult to believe the party will bring surprises adding that he has never moved away from PDP despite the challenges the party has faced.
Speaking on his plan, as a Federal Lawmaker, Omotosho said he will consolidate on his achievements and give the people of Oyo North better and adequate representation at the lower chamber of the National Assembly
