Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has resigned from President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet.

Fayemi made the announcement on Wednesday at a valedictory briefing in Abuja, saying the move was to allow him pursue his governorship ambition in Ekiti State.
Fayemi is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the governorship election scheduled to hold July 14.
