The family of the late Pastor Bola Longe (AIG Rtd) has announced a series of events to honor his life and legacy, spanning three states over the course of two weeks. Pastor Longe, a retired Assistant Inspector General of Police and esteemed clergyman.
AIG Bola Longe who is also a lawyer died earlier on Sunday, December 22, 2024.
According to the family, the first Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, at God’s Elect Ministries International Church, opposite Munch Gallery, Bukansidi, Kurikyo Road, Lafia, Nasarawa State. The service is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life Event at Taal Conference Hotel, Jos Road, Lafia, at 12:30 p.m. the same day.
The commemorations will then move to Ibadan, Oyo State, on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, where a Commendation and Tributes Service is planned for 10:00 a.m. at God’s Elect Ministries International, along NIHORT Elenusonso Road, Adejumo, Ibadan.
A Wake Keep and Service of Songs will follow on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Mercy Seat Sanctuary, Osun Province 3 Headquarters, Eruru Quarters, Ido Ijesa, Ilesa, Osun State. The Funeral Service is set for the next day, Friday, February 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the same RCCG location.
Concluding the events, the family will host the Bola Longe Celebration of Life Gala on February 28 at The Kings Mega Hall Event Center, Ife Road, beside the High Court, Ilesa.
Friends, colleagues, and well-wishers are invited to join the family in celebrating the life of Pastor Bola Longe (AIG Rtd), whose influence spanned both religious and law enforcement spheres.
