Contrary to the claims that the borehole drilling machine was bought in 1995, loyalists of Alao Akala have said the statement credited to the Chairman, Oyo State Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA), Engr. Najeem Omirinde is untrue
They said Alao Akala bougth Tractor and borehole drilling machines for all the 33 local government in 2008.
The Chairman, Oyo State Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA), Engr. Najeem Omirinde on Wednesday said that until the present administration in the State approved the purchase of a borehole drilling rig recently, no administration ever did so since 1995.
The statement was displeasing to many especially members of the opposition party who caution the government against hoodwinking the unsuspecting public with lies and unverifiable fact to score cheap political goal
