Eyin-Grammar Community Hails Hon. Dapo Lam Adesina’s Intervention on Water Crisis

Community leaders and residents of Eyin Grammar Community , Molete in Ibadan South East Local Government have commended Hon Dapo Lam Adesina a member of the National Assembly for relieving them of perennial water crisis in the area.


The lawmaker representing Ibadan South East, North, East Federal Constituency at the lower chamber of the House of Assembly donated a motorized borehole for the community

The project, which was located at ALGON Health Center commissioned on wednesday is part of his effort towards fulfilling his electioneering campaign promises to the people of the constituency and it was the 28 water projects to be constructed and completed in three years.

Omo Oloore, while handing over the project to the beneficiary community, emphasized on his resolution not to relent in his efforts at any point in time in putting smiles on the faces of the people at every nook and cranny of his constituency through meaningful and developmental projects.

The youthful lawmaker noted that the importance of water to human existence can not be over emphasized hence, the reason why he has put up the water project to ensure that majority of people in his constituency have access to potable water supply.

He maintained that in the last three years of his administration as the Honourable member representing the constituency at the Green Chamber, he has constructed and completed twenty-seven (27) water projects at different locations across the constituency before the newly commissioned one.

Hon. Lam Adesina listed Odo-Oba, Adesola, Abayomi Iwo-Road, Atipe Oje, Oke-Suna, Omowumi Olorunsogo, Oke-Ofa Bababsale, Ile-Titun and other numerous places where the water projects are located.

He however appealed to the leaders and the entire people of the community to ensure proper maintenance and monitoring of the project.

He also used the opportunity to implore those that are yet to collect the Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to do so, stating that it remains the only weapon to elect the right people into position during the 2019 elections.

In his welcome address, the General Chairman, Eyin Grammar Community Development Area, Alhaji Lateef Adegoke commended Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina for deeming it fit to extend dividend of democracy to the community through the provision of water.

The CDA Chairman on behalf of the community assured Hon. Lam Adesina of their support whenever the need arises. Alhaji Olagoke promised that the community will ensure that the water project is properly maintained.
Speaking on behalf of the conmunity Alhaji Lateef Adegoke said the borehole was initialy donated to the community but they decided to site it inside the premises of the community health centre which.

Also Mrs Adetunji MCH, Ibadan south LCDA in her vote of thanks said Hon Lam Adesina has been very supportive in his constituency since he became a Federal lawmaker and pray that God almighty will continue to empower him and bless his dreams
