Olubadan Christmas and New Year Message
As the world celebrate Chrismas, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Aje ogungunniso 1 has urged Nigerians to emulate the exemplary life and time of our lord, Jesus Christ by embracing the principle of caring and sharing.
In his Christmas/New Year message,Signed by Adeola Oloko Director, Media and Public Affairs  the first class monarch enjoined Nigerians irrespective of class, sex, religious and political persuation to keep consideration to the poor and the needy in this challenging time.
According to him, Jesus Christ, the reason for the season exemplified charity, love, peace and miracle works, without which no society can make progress.
He enjoined Nigerians to pray without ceasing for a positive change in the socio-economic affairs of Nigeria. Oba Adetunji express the hope that God would change this time in favour of all Nigerians and this trying time would soon be over.
He however appealed to all Nigerians to be patience with the present administration in the country, as everything will soon be alright.
