ELXG. Social Club, Abuja Elects New Executive Members

A new set of executive members that would pilot the affairs of an Abuja based social club,Elite league of extra ordinary gentlemen “ELXG” for the next two years has emerged through a virtual election over the weekend.

The election which was done virtually unopposed across all elective positions produced Segun Akinyemi as the new President of the club, Olugbenga Jaiyesimi, Vice President, while Ashaolu Gbenga Ayoola Eso emerged Secretary respectively.

Others Include Olubiyo Femi as assistant secretary, Tajudeen Adegboyega Adeoye, Financial Secretary, Kolawole Femi, Assistant financial secretary, Alade Akindele Ademola as Public Relations Officer, Folaranmi Kayode Samson, Assistant Public Relations Officer, Oladipupo Sharafadeen Babatunde as Treasure, while Alhaji Ayotunde Rasaq Esuola was elected Welfare Secretary.

While appreciating members of the club for their support, the newly elected President, Segun Akinyemi promised to stand by the motives and reasons behind the formation of the club which centered on collective development of members, the society and humanitarian services to less privileges.

He further encouraged members to let their light shine light brighter around their communities by assisting the downtrodden and keep making a difference;

“Let’s bring out the star quality in each of us by assisting fellow members in anyways we can so that the world can truly be a better place for all.

We are all called to be ‎active in service, and I encourage each of you to seek out your own role and way to get involved, and then pursue it with passion and enthusiasm- we rely on that to keep the club vibrant and active in our communities so as to create a better and more friendly society”, he said.

He solicited for corporation of all members of the Club towards towards getting the job done, adding that the task ahead is not a one man show, it requires all hands to be on deck as they strive to cover more ground and spread their reach to across the nation and compete favourable with existing popular social clubs such as Ikoyi club,Lagos Tennis club, Abeokuta sports club among others in no distance time.
