Electricity: Lamiju Alao-Akala Seeks Completion of 132/33KVA Transmission Project in Ogbomoso

Hon Olamijuwonlo Ayodeji Alao-Akala JP has urged the minister of power, Oloye Bayo Adelabu to revisit and ensure completion of abandoned Ogbomoso Power Station 132/33KVA transmission project.

The 132/33 KVA substation is a project initiated by the  Federal Government in about  13 years ago, and during the last administration, Engineers from the Federal Ministry of Power and officials of Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) said the project is near Completion.

Hon Olamijuwonlo Ayodeji Alao Akala, a member of the Federal House of Reps representing Ogbomoso North, South and Oriire Federal Constituency said this during a courtesy visit to the minister in his office

The Ogbomoso born lawmaker ” I was excited to intimate the Minister of Power on the abandoned Ogbomoso Power Station 132/33KVA transmission project, which particular project is very dear to my heart.

He implored the Minister to swiftly see to the completion of the project so that his can constituents can enjoy regular, and uninterrupted power supply

The minister in his response appreciated Hon Akala for the visit and promise to look into his request and treat as soon as possible.

In a similar development, Hon Ayodeji Alao- Akala paid a congratulatory visit to the Executive Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, Chief Zaccheus Adedeji in his office.

During the visit, He delivered the goodwill message of the people of Ogbomoso to their proud son and express optimism that under his astute leadership, wealth of experience, and sound academic pedigree, the FIRS and the Ministry of Power will continue to set the pace in the evolving development and economic prosperity of Nigeria
