Barrister Ojo-Lanre made this commendation while presenting the award to the Governor and introducing two newly appointed tourism officials from Ekiti State, Mr. Peculiar Ekiran, the Special Assistant on Tourism Development, and Mrs. Dolapo Ogunleye, a Tourism Officer of the Bureau of Tourism Development, who were recently inducted into the prestigious Club 100 Tourism Personalities in Nigeria.

The Executive Secretary of the Bureau, Barrister Adegboyega Morakinyo, also thanked the Governor for his support to the Bureau and promised that the Bureau will not relent on its efforts.
In his response, the Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, said that the award was the collective effort of all, and he commended the resourcefulness of Barrister Ojo-Lanre in making the Bureau of Tourism Development Ekiti State run as expected. He also tasked the Bureau with some specific objectives to further enhance the state’s tourism potential.
This award is a testament to Ekiti State’s commitment to developing its tourism sector and showcasing its rich cultural heritage to the world. It also highlights the state government’s dedication to providing the necessary support and resources to drive the growth of the tourism industry in the state.
