EFCC Quizzes Obi Cubana Over Alleged Money Laundering, Tax Fraud

Popular socialite and businessman, Obinna Iyiegbu, aka Obi Cubana, was on monday afternor arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for money laundering.

According to punchonline, the Anambra-born club owner,  who arrived the headquarters of the EFCC at Jabi, Abuj is currently being interrogated by operatives of the commission.

Though allegations against the socialite were sketchy as of press time, a source disclosed that his case borders on alleged money laundering and tax fraud.

The source said, “Obi Cubana was arrested and brought to the EFCC headquarters on Monday afternoon over allegations of money laundering and tax fraud. He is being grilled by detectives as we speak.”
