Olugbon expresses confidence in Leye Oyebade

The Olugbon of Orile-Igbon, Oba Alao Francis has expressed confidence in the leadership of the Deputy Inspector General in charge of Research and planing, Leye Oyebade who will head the police team for the Edo governorship election coming up in Saturday.

Olugbon in a statement by his media aide, Akin Alade maintained that the DIG will be fair and professional in the coming election in Edo.

The Monarch said this while paying the DIG at ourtesy visit at his office, Abuja during the weekend.

Olugbon who is the vice-chariman of council of Oba in Oyo state noted that the antecedents of the DIG have shown that he is a man of integrity that will do everything humanly possible to ensure the coming election in Edo is violence free.

The monarch also assured Edo resident not to panic, adding that they should support the DIG so that there can be peaceful election in gbe state.

The statement further reads, “The Olugbon believes the DIG will be fair and professional in the coming election in Edo. He has 100 per cent trust in him that there will be peace in the Edo coming election.

“Oba Francis also believes the antecedents of the DIG will speak for him.

” He however encouraged him to continue to be a good omoluabi. He should continue to represent the Yoruba race well. ”
