No fewer than 120 houses and many shops were on Wednesday affected by heavy downpour in Obada community and odo oba market in Ogbomoso.
Traders and residents of the Community lament the loss and seek government urgent support
One of the affected vendor at the market says that the rains have left them in trouble since they have been operating on bank loans and have responsibilities like paying fees for their children, buying food, paying rent among others.
The monarch of Obada,Oba Samuel Oladosun Oyekunle while commiserating with the victims promised to get in torch with appropiaye quarters for support
He thanked God that no life was lost.
He however call on governments at all levels to come to the aid of the victims saying the havoc is beyond what the affected people can bear
