Dotun Sanusi’s Father, Pa Ganiyu Sanusi, Celebrated at 95 in Ilaji

In a grand display of camaraderie and respect, prominent figures including traditional rulers, community leaders, and other dignitaries gathered at Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort to celebrate the 95 birthday of Pa Ganiyu Oladosu Sanusi, the father of Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi.

The event was a reflection of the widespread admiration and esteem that Pa Sanusi holds within political and social circles in Ibadanland.

With an impressive guest list and an atmosphere of joy and celebration, the birthday festivities were nothing short of memorable.

This auspicious occasion presents people with the perfect opportunity to honour a man who has continuously exemplified excellence, kindness, and wisdom throughout his life. The event served as a platform for these influential figures to come together in a spirit of unity, transcending political differences and affiliations.

Their presence highlighted Sanusi’s significance and the impact he has made in both political and social spheres.

His son, Jubril Dotun Sanusi whose name resonates with grace and dignity, encompasses a personality that is rare to find.

As we reflect upon Pa Sanusi’s numerous achievements, it becomes evident that his endeavors extend far beyond the realm of personal accomplishments. In a grand celebration of the life and achievements of Alhaji Ganiyu, dignitaries from all corners of Nigeria and Malta gathered together to pay tribute to a man who has left an indelible mark on the landscape of our great nation.

As the event unfolded, the air was filled with anticipation and excitement as ace Juju maestro, Ebenezer Obey lit up the atmosphere.

The presence of eminent personalities who graced the occasion, added aura of significance and prestige to the event.

Representative of Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, described Pa Sanusi as a man of values and substance.

Other monarchs who spoke at the event included Onpetu of Ijeru land, Oba Sunday Oladapo Oyediran, Oba Hamidu Ajibade who spoke on behalf of Olubadan-in- Council, described the celebrant as a man with distinctive quality.

Chief (Mrs) Mutiat Ladoja eulogized Pa Sanusi and prayed for a healthy life.

Other dignitaries at the event included, Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Lateef Ajibola, Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh Imam Agbotomokekere, Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria, Oyo State Chapter.

Special prayers were offered by the grand Imam of Oyo State and Christian Association of Nigeria for the birthday celebrant and his all his children while royal blessings were offered by monarchs present at the event.

Others were, Alhaja Bose Adedibu, House of Representatives member, Hon Oyeshina , Hon Agboworin. Barrister Ajewole, CCII President, Hon. Ezekiel Oladimeji Temitope OTOPE, Ona Ara Local Government Chairman, Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS.
