Cultists Threaten Secondary School Principal for Suspending Their Members

Members of Cult group in Uyo High School, Akwa Ibom, have threatened to deal with the school principal Mr. Michael Iwok’s if he fails to reinstate their suspended members within 24 hours

Some students suspected to be cultists were recently suspended by the school management

Apart from the threat, Fetish Items, including fresh pepper, palm oil drops, peeled cooked egg, palm fronds, red cloth, and N10 note, among others, were seen yesterday at the entrance to Mr. Michael Iwok’s office.

Similar items and several inscriptions were also seen at the entrance to Senior Secondary 3 classes.

Chairman, Akwa Ibom State Secondary Education Board (SSEB) Dr. Ekaette Ebong Okon has announced the immediate closure of the school.

Police spokesman Odiko MacDon the command had no business in the matter.
