The Director General and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Crime Alert Security Network, Ambassador Olugbenga Olaniyan on Tuesday donated 6 patrol vehicles to Agodi Area Command, Ibadan, Oyo State.
While presenting vehicles to at the Agodi commaned , the crime alert boss said that the gesture is to aid security agencies is in ensuring the adequate protection of lives and properties.
Olaniyan enjoined people to assist people with intelligent and credible information that would aid their efficiency and effectiveness, adding that if there were synergy and collaboration between the masses and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA), the crimes would have been brought into a bearest minimum.
The Commissioner of Oyo State Police Command, Nwachukwu Enwonwu Enwonwu commended Olaniyan for the donation of the patrol
He described the Chief Executive Officer Of crime Alert Security Network as a kind and generous giver who values and cherishes the security of lives and properties of the state, adding that Olaniyan had been proving useful for Oyo State Police Command, Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) and others respectively.
Enwonwu stressed that there would be no rooms for police brutality and autocratic use of power, adding that police would arrest the alleged suspects with evidence of arrest warrant and constitutionally democratic means would be employed in dealing with the alleged culprits.
He said further that the pacesetter state has become a peaceful and crime free place where business men and women need not to worry on operation of business activities, stressing that they are now visible, eager and ready to combat anyone disturbing the peace of the state.
Also, ACP Sonubi O. Ayodele, Agodi Area Command in his remark appreciated Olaniyan for his unique gesture to identify with Agodi Area Command and equally for donation of patrol vehicles to aid and beef up the security in the area and Oyo State at large, stressing his efforts was noted and acknowledged on the prime motive to reduce crimes
Mr, Omofoye, Police Community Relations Committee(PCRC) Chairman in Oyo State has disclosed that PCRC had made credible achievements based on supports in all kinds that Olaniyan has been rendering to the committee at large.
Omofoye added that Olaniyan’s elevation to a patron of Command was a deserved portfolio, having responsible for acknowledgement of notable feats at local, state and command among others.
