A federal Lawmaker representing Surulere/Ogo Oluwa Federal constituency, Hon Segun Dokun Odebunmi and his Wife Yeyeluwa Oluwatoyin Odebunmi has commenced disbursement of cash to Ogbomoso people as palliatives to cushion the effects of covid 19.
This is coming few weeks after the duo gives out food items including Rice, Beans, Garri, Semovita and others worth over N5M to his constituents in Surulere Ogo/Oluwa.
Hon Odebunmi who is also the chairman House of Reps Committee on Information National Orientation, Ethics and Values said he took this decision to spread the support to people in his zone .
According to him, the disbursement which started on Sunday was done via a sponsored radio programme tagged Itaniji lori COVID-19 on Ajilete FM and Parrot Fm in Ogbomoso .The programme which continues today and ends on Parrot FM 1:15pm , Thursday and Saturday Ajilete FM 3:45PM.
“ This time around we are engaging a radio presenter to coordinate and disburse the cash, because we want the whole process to be more transparent and reach the right people irrespective of their political affiliation. Yeye Odebunmi had last week dole out about N500,000 cash to people in her husband’s constituency and the entire Ogbomoso zone.
