Court Ruling Won’t Stop May 12 Council Poll in Oyo- OYSIEC

Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission OYSIEC has assured people that the court pronouncement on the case instituted by some people in Ibarapa East local government will not stop the conduct of election sheducled for May 12

OYSIEC Chairman, Mr John Olajide Ajeigbe in a press statement made available to journalists said the situation is under control and that election will go as scheduled.

OYSIEC wishes to assured members of the public and all political parties that the recent Court pronouncement instituted by some people in Ibarapa East local government will not according to Oyo State Independent Electoral law affects the forthcoming local government elections into 33 local government councils andv35 local council development areas of the state come May 12 ,2018.
