‎‎‎An Oyo State High Court sitting in Ibadan has adjourned hearing in a land dispute between I.A. COM Nigeria Ltd and Satguru Maharaj Ji to November 27, 2025, following arguments over amended statements of claim.
‎
‎The case, with suit number I/786/2022, came up on Wednesday before Justice Muraina Rasak at Court 19, Iyaganku, Ibadan.
‎
‎At the proceedings, counsel to the plaintiff, Barrister Fredrick Oladapo, applied to withdraw one of the two amended statements of claim earlier filed, opting to retain the other.
‎
‎He stated that the Amendment statement of claim taken down will be worked upon and resubmitted to the court on the adjourned date.
‎
‎Counsel to the second to fifth defendants, Barrister Busari, informed the court that his clients would maintain the status quo until the next sitting.
‎
‎Speaking with journalists after the session, counsel to Satguru Maharaj Ji, Barrister Lowo Obisesan, said his client, Maharaj Ji would wait for the plaintiff’s final amended statement of claim before filing a corresponding amended defence.
‎
‎After hearing from the parties, Justice Rasak adjourned the matter to November 27, 2025, for further hearing.
