“Your Excellency Sir, I am particularly grateful that you’re alive and also in a position to witness the love, fondness and solidarity of our various country men and women, and even people in the Diaspora showing appreciation for all your patriotism, selflessness, loyal services to the nation and the Nigerian Army and all your various gestures to expand the frontiers of philanthropy to all those whose path have crossed yours.”
“Sir, you’re indeed a primus inter peres. Sir, an average Nigerian owes you an immense debt of gratitude, for leading the Nigerian Army to defeat the cowardly Boko Haram (BHT) / ISWAP terrorist group, and all other violent extremist group who attempted to create a state within the Nigerian State. Sir, as COAS, and the then leader of the counter- insurgency operations you reduced the BHT group from it’s notorious appellation as one of the world deadliest terrorist group to a bunch of cattle rustlers and desperate high way robbers, before their final technical defeat by the Nigerian Army.”
