Our correspondent. gathered that a former commissioner and some other personalities from Oke Ogun wades in and reconciled the duo.
The reconciliation meeting was held at Protea hotel Lagos on Wednesday and where the duo were privileged to state their claims.
While the monarch was appealed to to forgive and consider Shittu as on of his subject, the minister was also cautioned against denigrating the traditional institutions with his utterances.
The focus of those that broker the truce is not far fetched from Oke Ogun agenda which is ensuring that an Oke Ogun man becomes the next governor of the state
It would be recalled that the traditional ruler and the minister have been engaging in a war of words for some time
