Coalition of Youth organization under the aegies of Nigeria Youth in Politics (NYP) on Saturday hold a birthday party for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the president elect on hi s 71st birthday anniversary
The event which was held in lagos have Representatives of various youth groups across the nation in attendance
The group cordinator , Adetokunbo Adesina in his welcome remark said t “Tinubu’s victory at the poll is a hard earned one and a victory for the yourth so we are proposing April 29th for a nationwide party for his victory in the February 25th presidential election.
Adetokunbo also hinted that the CEO of a fast growing company in the real estate sector, Agbi Stephen Omobamidele has donated 150 cows to support the proposed April 29 victory party in honor of the Nigeria President-Elect H.E Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Olufowobi Olarewaju, Vice President of Nigeria Youth in Politics while speaking at the event maintained that noting will stop the transition to another All Progressives Congress, APC, government.
“A winner has emerged, Tinubu will be sworn in. In fact, there will be a nationwide party to celebrate his inauguration,” Oluwofowobi said.
Tinubu Shettima Movement Coordinator, Adetokunbo Adesina accused a cross-section of Nigerians of engaging in religious and ethnic bias.
“I’m a Christian but I don’t play politics of emotion and that is how it should be. The Muslim-Muslim ticket was the best formula. We all saw they acted like brothers during the campaign.
“They complement each other. For the first time, we have two people that can take this country to where it should be. They deserve the support of everyone,” Adesina added.
Lekan Bilyamin, Lagos Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, said Tinubu enjoys the support of the young people because “he’s a talent hunter”.
“After receiving his certificate, he told the youth: “I hear you loud and clear. People should calm down and place Nigeria first. The candidates of other parties should call their supporters to order.
“Nothing bad must happen before May 29. The media should also balance the system. We know you are the watchdog, you have to do your work, but try to be fair. Preach peace, love, and harmony,” he advised
