Coalition of Civil Society Groups Against Terrorism on Nigeria has felicitate with the former Chief of Army Staff Ambassador Tukur Buratai on his 61st Birthday

The group in a statement signed by Comrade Odeyemi Oladimeji Convener and the secretary, Barrister John Atani said. the 61 years he has spent so far have been most fruitful and exemplary, contributing greatly to the development of peace and unity of the country and humanity at large.

1. It is with great joy and a sense of gratitude to the almighty Allah that we write youthis letter to congratulate you on your birthday anniversary which comes up on the 24th day of November, 2021.

2. Sir, we join your family as well as millions of Nigerians and the international community to celebrate
your life as a living testimony to excellence, selfless
services and genuine goodwill to all men irrespective of religion, race or creed.

3. Sir, the Nation owes you an immeasurable debt of gratitude for your vision, vigor and courage with which you have pursued the struggle for the sustenance of our country’s sovereignty, peace, democracy and economic prosperity.

4. Sir, your excellent spirit of tolerance and forbearance are attributes which our fellow countrymen must imbibe to make a success of the supreme task of nation building, national integration and development.

5. Sir, as a human being, you have continued to spread light and joy where ever you went. As a Military strategist and a former Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Nigerian Army, you guaranteed a safer Nigeria, you defeated terrorism and protected our sovereign integrity. As an intellectual of high repute and a prolific writer, you have demonstrated a refreshing sense of originality, lucidity and thoroughness to the admiration of all. As a foremost crusader, you are committed to restoring the
dignity of man through the eradication of ignorance. Your commitment and
contribution to sports and education remains an enduring legacy to posterity.

6. Sir, we are not surprised that the almighty Allah has blessed you so much because we know that those who bring sunshine into the lives of others cannot keep it away from themselves. You have continued to touch humanity with your large heart and humane deposition.

7. Sir, no doubt the 61 years you have spent so far have been most fruitful and exemplary, contributing greatly to the development of peace and unity of the country and humanity at large. You have successfully been building bridges of trust and confidence across the nation and in the continent.

8. Your excellency Sir, the occasion of your milestone birthday anniversary is a specialtime to express our sincere appreciation of our association with you as our mentor and benefactor. We wish to give glory to the almighty Allah for using you as a vessel for the promotion of peaceful coexistence and religious harmony towards the
building of a strong, virile, prosperous and united Nigeria.
