The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Oyo State held its annual prayer for Nigeria, hosted by Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland and Chairman of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi.

The event took place at the Ilaji Resort International Mini Stadium, drawing Christian groups from all 33 local government areas of Oyo State.

The gathering was marked by intense praise and worship as Oyo State CAN Chairman, Apostle Col.(Rtd) Joshua Sola Akinyemiju, led a special prayer for Nigeria, which was the central focus of the event.

In addition to prayers for the nation, Bishop Daniel Oluwajimade, Director of State Issues and Coordinator of Social Welfare for CAN Oyo State, offered a heartfelt prayer for Governor Seyi Makinde and for Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi’s gubernatorial ambition in 2027, asking for divine guidance and blessings for both leaders.
