The Funeral arrangement of Agbaakin of Ogbomosoland, Senator Ayantayo Ayandele, has been scheduled for April 12 and 13 in Ogbomoso.

The third republic Senator died in Ibadan on Saturday at the age of 86.

Ayandele, a fomer Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local government served at both federal and state boards.

A family source told our reporter that the burial program will hold in Ogbomoso between 12th and 13th of April 2018.

Meanwhile, Senator Abdulfatai Buhari, Chairman, Senate Committee on ICT and Cybercrime has Commisserates with the family of late Chief Ayantayo Ayandele and the entite people of Ogbomoso over the demise of the Agbaakin of Ogbomosoland.

The lawmaker in a condolence message to the family said the death of the late Senator is a great loss in the political clime in Oyo State and Nigeria at large.

“During his life time, Baba demonstrated exemplary leadership style with a geunine passion for the development of his constituency and the people, no wonder why he was always assigned one role or the other by various admnistrations at the Federal level.

“There is no doubting the fact that Chief Ayandele will be remembered for his outstanding performances and patriotism at various positions held during his lifetime.

“Though death is inveitable, but Chief Ayandele’s death at this time is least expected, especially at this period, when he advise and intervention are needed on the political and economic development of Ogbomoso and Oyo State,

“We pray for the repose of his soul and wish that Almighty God grant his immediate, extended and political families the fortitude to bear the loss.”
