CDCFIB Announces Physical Screening, Document Verification for 2024/2025 Recruitment Exercise

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the commencement of the next stage of its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise, directing applicants who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) to check their application status on the board’s recruitment portal.

In a press release signed by the Secretary to the Board, Major General Abdulmalik M. Jibril (Rtd.), on Saturday, the Board disclosed that successful candidates would proceed to the physical screening and document verification stage.

According to the statement, applicants who sat for the CBT conducted in November 2025 are required to visit the recruitment portal between June 15 and June 20, 2026, to verify their status.

The Board explained that applicants should log into the portal using the application number generated during their initial registration. Shortlisted candidates will be required to upload their credentials and select their preferred date and venue for the physical screening exercise.
The CDCFIB urged applicants to strictly adhere to all instructions provided on the portal to ensure a smooth screening process.
Reiterating its commitment to transparency, the Board emphasized that the recruitment exercise remains completely free of charge and warned applicants against paying money to any individual or group claiming to facilitate shortlisting, venue allocation, document uploads, access to screening centres, or final selection.
“The recruitment process is completely FREE. No fee should be paid to any person, agent, group or organisation under any circumstance,” the statement stressed.
The Board also cautioned the public against fake recruitment messages, fraudulent websites and unauthorized individuals claiming to represent CDCFIB, noting that all official information regarding the recruitment exercise would be communicated exclusively through its official recruitment portal and approved communication channels.

It further assured applicants and the general public of its commitment to conducting a transparent, credible and merit-based recruitment process in line with established regulations governing public service recruitment.
The statement was issued on June 13, 2026.
