CCII Election Holds April 2

The election of new executive members of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes CCII will hold on Friday April 2nd.

Alhaji Waheed Ekun and Prince Yemisi Adeaga are jostling for the leadership position of the Apex socio- cultural group in Ibadan which ia currently occupied by Mr Adeyemi Soladoye

Chief Waheed Ekun, The Agbaakin Mayegun of Ibadanland is into real estate while Prince Oluwayemi Adeaga of Baale Opadere dynasty in Ibadan retired as a civil servant and now a businessman

According to an update obtained by National Insight, representatives of 102 recognized clubs will participate in the election.

Accreditation of Voters and Observers
holds between 11am – 1.00pm while the election of In-coming Executive Members will start by 3pm and at 6pm

“The Voters and Observers will be accredited only with presentation of a nationally recognized means of identification. This could be either drivers’ license, National Identity card, Voters’ card, or International passport.
