CAN Thanks Makinde For Appointing  Enge. Open Salawu, Says It’s a Testatement of his  Worth

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ogbomoso zone has congratulated Engineer Muftau Open Salawu, FNSE, over his appointment as the Executive Assistant on Project Monitoring to the Oyo State Governor.

CAN in a statement by its Chairman, Ven. Dr J S Adegoke on Saturday said Open Salawu’s appointment is remarkable and a testament of his worth.

The Christian body in Ogbomosoland also thanked Governor Seyi Makinde for appointing the Babalaje of Ogbomosoland.

The body also expressed confidence that the Waziri Jari Nupe will justify the confidence reposed in him

The statement read in full: “As Christian body in Ogbomosoland, it is gratifying to hear that Engr Muftau Open SALAWU meng. was recently appointed as the Executive Assistant on Project Monitoring to the Oyo State Government.

“Engr Open SALAWU is a devout Muslim but with no bias mind to the Christians.

He is a rare asset, an accomplished Entrepreneur with a very rich wealth of experience. His new appointment is remarkable, an honour and a testament to his worth.

“The Zonal CAN Ogbomoso expressed her profound gratitude to our amiable Governor, His Excellency Engineer Seyi Makinde for making Engr. Muftau Open SALAWU his choice candidate for this very important portfolio in Oyo State.

“We are well pleased and very much confident that he will justify the confidence reposed in him. To our man, Engineer Muftau Open SALAWU, 11 Corintians 4:2 says “Moreover, it is required that a Steward who has been given a trust be faithful to his Master ‘We pray that Almighty God give you the wherewithal needed to make a difference in Jesus name. Kindly accept our congratulations!”
