Bursary Award: Oyo Scholarship Board Releases Application Portal for Oyo Indigene Students

In response to the current prevailing economic challenges in Nigeria, the Oyo State Governor,Engr. ‘Seyi Makinde, through the Oyo state Scholarship Board, has initiated measures to alleviate the financial burden on Oyo state indigene students in public tertiary Institutions.

One of such measures is the Oyo State Indigene Students Bursary Award, which is aimed at providing financial support for the final year students pursuing higher education in Public Nigerian universities, polytechnics and Clinical Schools.

The scholarship board has also released the application portal for eligible students to apply.

The Chairman, Oyo State Scholarship Board, Rt. Hon. Maroof Atilola made this known in a statement issued on Friday and made it available to newsmen in Ibadan.

He explained that all final year students of
Oyo State indigene in Public universities, polytechnics, Clinical Students, Aviation and Maritime Students are eligible to apply for the Bursary.

Hon. Atilola , however, called on interested and eligible students to visit this website:https://bursary.oyostate.gov.ng/2024/ to submit applications from 1st August, to 31st August, 2024.
