The Chairman House Committee on Information National Orientation Ethics and Values and Member Representing Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere Federal constituency Oyo state , Hon.Olusegun Odebunmi Dokun has congratulated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his emergence as the Presidential Candidate of the All progressive Congress (APC) during the just concluded party primary held in Eagle Square Abuja.
Hon. Odebunmi in a statement signed by him maintaned the need for all the stakeholders to remain united and focused.
He said: “I heartily congratulate Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his election as the Presidential Candidate of our great Party, APC for the 2023 general elections.
“I commend all the other Presidential aspirants at the APC National Convention for their courage, patriotism and remarkable spirit of sportsmanship which they displayed throughout the consultation period up to the National Convention.
“All our Presidential aspirants are eminently qualified and their aspirations were driven by patriotism in line with the mission of APC.
He stated further that the delegates have spoken and resoundingly so in electing Asiwaju as the Presidential standard bearer to lead our Party and indeed Nigerians to victory in the 2023 Presidential election.
“The emergence of Tinubu is not a coincidence and
what Nigerians are expecting from our Party at the moment is to put aside all personal interests, reinforce our unity and lead the party to victory come May 29 2023.
“I also equally commend the National Working Committee, the APC Governors’ Forum, the National Assembly Caucus and all other organs and structures of our great Party across the federation for our collective efforts in ensuring the success of our National Convention.
