The chairman Senate Committee on ICT and Cybercrime Senator Abdulfatai Buhari has urged Christians in Nigeria to use the opportunity of the Christmas festivities to offer prayers for sustainable peace and development in the country.

Senator Buhari in his Christmas message felicitated with them on the celebration of the birth of the Saviour and advised that they should let the true meaning of Christmas reflect in their lives.

“Christ is the reason for the season, we should emulate his humility, passion for the kingdom as well as learn from his teachings where he preached love, courage and faithfulness  to the creator

“As Christians we must ensure continuous prayers for the nation and her leaders as well as living in harmony with neighbors  especially in other religions”.
