President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Oluremi Alabi Martins as the new Managing Director of the Nigerian Incentives-Based Risk Sharing System for Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL) and Moh’d Tajudeen Abioye as new Director General for National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency (NOSDRA).

The two appointments take immediate effect.

Oluremi Alabi Martins, an Accountant, graduated from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), specializing in Finance from the same University. He is a member of many professional bodies which include the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) and Nigeria Institute of Management.

Until his appointment, Martins, an indigene of Osun State, was a Managing Partner at Prentas Techno- Economic Consultant Limited and also the Managing Director, Rezeng International Services Limited, a Financial and Management Consultancy firm.

While the new Director General of NOSDRA, Moh’d Tajudeen Abioye, an indigene of Kwara State graduated with B.Sc (Hons) in Chemistry from University of Ilorin and also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the same University. He later obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism at the International Institute of Journalism, Abuja.

He was once a Quality Control and Technical Service Manager with Churchgate Group.

Until his appointment, Abioye was the Managing Director/CEO of Toyab Jogfoy Nigeria Limited, an international management consultancy, and general services organization. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria, Chemical Society of Nigeria, Nigeria Institute of Management, Institute of Professional Managers and Administration of Nigeria.
