Fati a native of Kanuri in Maiduguri obtained her first degree in B.Sc in Nursing
She is also a documentary photographer, photojournalist and public health worker in Nigeria
She recently bagged her second degree in experimental & documentary arts at Duke Kunshan University, China.
She recently made the list of 25 most powerful African women journalists.
She teaches at Duke Kunshan University, China.
