A -35 year old Bricklayer, Sunday Ajayi, has been sentenced ‎to 6month imprisonment for jumping into government house agodi and broke into the apartment anti bumb squad police and stole their items 
 
He had on July 31, 2018 been arraigned before the magistrate court ,Iwo- road, presided over by Mr.Taiwo Olaniran ‎on a two courts charge of breaking and stealing 
 
Charge no: mi/331c /2018 
 
The prosecutor,Mr.Sunday Ogunremi  told the court ‎that the convict on the 29th of July  2017 at about 12:30pm at government house abiding GRA Ibadan, did break into government staff room 
 
Prosecutor said on the same date ,time and place in the aforementioned Magisterial District did stole one Wrist watch,four shirts,two trouser and EOD Binuocular property of Anit Bomb Section Nigeria police valued at N 535,000.00
 
Ogunremi said the committed offence contrary to the punishable under Section 411 and 390 (9) of the Criminal Code Cap 38 Vol.II laws of Oyo state of Nigeria, 2000 
 
The convict pleaded guilty 
 
The Magistrate, however put it to the convict what has  prompted you to go to that sensitive place like government house?
 
in his response the convict,Sunday Ajayi, prayed the court to temper Justice with mercy, saying it was work of the devil
 
In his  ruling the Magistrate, Mr.Taiwo Olaniran sentenced him to six months imprisonment without option of fine to serve as deterrent to other
