Breaking:6 Dead As Military Aircraft Crashes in Abuja

A military aircraft King Air 350 has just crashed short of Abuja runway after reporting engine failure

The plane belonging to the Nigerian Air Force (NAF201), a B350 aircraft departed Abuja at 1033UTC with 6 persons on board including two crew.

The incident which happened near aviation village called Bassa reportedly claimed 4 lives.

Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika who disclosed this on his tweeter page said the crash appears to be fatal.

We should remain calm & wait for the outcome of investigation by the military, while we pray for the departed soul/souls if any.

“An eye witness said the pilot did a great job by ensuring that it was not close to any of the structures.

“I saw it while the plane was struggling but there was no way to help rather than praying for them
