A former Vice Chancellor of University of Ibadan Professor Ayo Banjo is dead.
The renowned professor passed on in the early hours of Friday 22 days after he celebrated his 90th birthday
The Professor of English had his education at Igbobi College, Yaba, Lagos, University of Glasgow, Scotland, University of Leeds, England, University of California, Los Angeles and University of Ibadan.
