A non-profit organization, Beulah Adeoye Foundation has visited Nigerian Correctional Service, Agodi Custodial Centre, Ibadan to provide support to inmates and seek future collaboration for human capital development of the inmates in the facility.
The NGO team was led by founder’s Chief of Staff, Mr. Ridwan Fasasi to the Correctional Centre.
Mr. Fasasi delivered Amofin Beulah Adeoye’s message to the officer in-charge of the facility highlighting the strong determination of the foundation to collaborate with management on how the inmates can acquire productive skills while embracing the new challenges.
Chief of Staff assured the management of the facility that Beulah Adeoye Foundation will provide educational support and empower inmates in order to make them productive.
“Our foundation will provide textbooks, financial assistance to register interested inmates for external examinations and support the bakery section of the facility”.
Items donated were sanitary pads, drinks, slippers, bathing soap, toothbrushes and detergents.
NGO’s Director of Volunteers, Tiamiyu Opeyemi, Olaniyi Olawunmi, Oni Michael and a corps member, Yalub Adebayo were among foundation’s representatives for the visitation.
Dr Olayiwola on behalf of the management of the Agodi Custodial Centre expressed gratitude to the Beulah Adeoye Foundation for reaching out to inmates and its readiness to collaborate with management to assist the inmates with educational support and vocational skills.
