Peoples Democratic Party Presidential aspirant Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has stress on the need for the party to unite to be able to send the ruling All Progressives Congress APC out of government in 2019.

The Waziri of Adamawa said this in Ibadan during a visit to the Oyo state chapter of the party to seek for their support in the forthcoming delegate election.

Abubakar, former vice president of Nigeria recall that Oyo state was a strong base of the PDP. and should be restored as a pace setter

He said further that, with unity and determination of the party members ,PDP will not only win at the Federal level but also produce the next governor of Oyo state.

Atiku was who accompanied by former Governor of Ogun state Otunba Gbenga Daniel thanks the Oyo state people for supporting his ambition and promise not to betray the confidencs reposed in him.

In his brief remark, Elder Wole Oyelese a former minister said Oyo state is always been marginalized when it come to sharing of power at the National level and call on Atiku to address that if he eventually emmerge as the president

Some of the party leaders at the meeting includes, Senator Ayoade Adeseun, Engineer Seyi Makinde, Senator Hosea Agboola, Senator Robert Koleoso, Chief Mrs Bose Adedibu, Chief Jacob Adetoro among others.
