Tomiwa Popoola a member of suspected  bags snatcher and phone thieves Syndicate was on Wednesday morning apprehended in Ibadan

He was caught by residence of Dizzengolf area around monaton – Olodo road by residence and Amotekun officers.

Tomiwa who said his partner on crime Toheeb (now at large) introduced him into phone snatching was taken to Agidigbo Radio where he was interrogated by the station’s propietor Oriyomi Hamzat before he was taken to police station

The suspect said he was a trained Barber but he choses to venture into the unholy acta due to peer influence

He said that his father and mother had been trying to help him out as they are event planning to take him to prayer mountain for spiritual cleansing.

A victim whose bag containing money and phones was snatched yesterday identified Tomiwa as one of the guys who pointed gun at her yesterday evening when snatching her belongings

An Amotekun officer said ” They got wind of the incident last night and efforts to arrest them was abortive bit today early this morning he got the information that one of the robbers was arrested after burgling another house in monatan area

He said further that ” We took him to his father’s house and when we got their his brother further exposed him by calling pastor of a church who where he stole four phones few days ago, he confessed to have sold the Stolen phones and described where he placed the sim pack for them.
