Applicants for the SUBEB recruitment exercise  in Ekiti  state are to pay a sum of N1000.00
About 2000,  applied for the job out of which less than 1,500  people will be employed
According to a statement issued in Ado Ekiti “In view of the huge number of applications received, the cost of logistics for the examination has risen considerably so SUBEB, after due consultations, decided to introduce an examination fee of N1, 000:00 (one thousand naira only) to cover the expenses”
The statement reads :
Applicants  are urged to confirm exam registration online Further to the online application process of the ongoing SUBEB recruitment exercise,  all applicants are hereby advised to visit the state jobs website to confirm their registration for the examination at www.ekitistate.gov.ng/jobs and adhere strictly to the directives contained therein.
The examination registration has become expedient because of the need to assign SEAT NUMBERS and to guide applicants to locate their examination venues in the centres.
In view of the huge number of applications received, the cost of logistics for the examination has risen considerably so SUBEB, after due consultations, decided to introduce an examination fee of N1, 000:00 (one thousand naira only) to cover the expenses.
Applicants are advised to follow the process on the website to confirm their registration for the examination, pay the processing fee of ONE THOUSAND NAIRA ONLY and secure a seat number.
All applicants are expected to come with their Examination Printout Slips for the examination on Saturday 21st September 2019 at their selected centres.
 Any printout slip without an Examination Seat Number will not be  accepted at the examination centers.
Meanwhile, the attention of Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has been drawn to reports that some faceless individuals, using unverified websites, have started requesting for various sums of money from unsuspecting members of the public who applied for teaching appointments under the ongoing recruitment exercise for Primary School Teachers in the state.
All applicants are advised to disregard information from any other website except www.ekitistate.gov.ng Applicants are also advised in their own interest to report the activities of fraudsters reportedly requesting for money to help them get this employment through the SUBEB Recruitment Facebook group page or to law enforcement agents.
Applicants should be rest assured that the recruitment will be purely
