Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State on Monday declared that moves are still ongoing to re-embrace the perceived aggrieved members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), in the ongoing reconciliation move going on in the state.
Ajimobi made this declaration while addressing journalists shortly after a stakeholders meeting of the party, held at the APC state secretariat, Oke Ado Ibadan.
At the meeting were Deputy Governor, Chief Moses Adeyemo; Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Hon. Olagunju Ojo; former Governor of the state, Chief Adebayo Alao-Akala; Chief of Staff Dr. Gbade Ojo; member, House of Representatives, Hon. Saheed Fijabi,
Ibadan North West/ Ibadan South West; Hon. Akeem Adeyemi (Atiba/Afijio/ Oyo East/Oyo West) and Hon. Segun Odebunmi (Surulere/Ogo-Oluwa).
Others are APC Chairman in the state, Chief Akin Oke; Hon. Kehinde Subair and secretary of the party, Hon. Mojeed Olaoya.
Ajimobi while speaking after the meeting held behind closed doors for over three hours, said that the party was ready for any of the aggrieved members that is ready for reconciliation.
He however insisted that internal crisis is not peculiar to Oyo APC.
Ajimobi said, “What we discussed is politics. We are ready for those who are ready for reconciliation. There are some that are reconcilable. There are some are not reconcilable. Those who are reconcilable, we will reconcile with them.
“God created all of us, we will be fighting and we will be settling it. You can see, some are coming back now. Some of them have come back. That is what politics is all about.

“But the best thing in our party is that we use to reconcile. All the political parties also have their own problems. Other political parties also have their own problems. But, in our party, there is room for reconciliation, you can see that some of them are still coming back.
