APC Crisis: Unity Forum May Dump Oyo APC

Following the inauguration of Chief Akin Oke  as the Chairman of the  All Progressives Congress APC in Oyo state by the National Working on Monday, Majority of  the  factional members of the party in Unity Forum may leave APC for another party

Already some of them are negotiating with PDP and Accord while some are considering a new party as an alternative

Although the Unity forum is exploring legal option as an alternative resolution “but if the legal option did not favour our group, we’ll leave the party for Ajimobi and his team” said one of the members.

It would be recall that both the Unity Forum and SENACO group holds parallel state congresses at Adamasingba Stadium and Liberty stadium respectively

Muhammed Gwarzo, the chairman of the congress committee sent to Oyo state told our reporter that the committee sold forms to members of both group base on directive from the National Assembly

According to him ‘ Breaking   Unity Forum Leaves  Oyo APC…Destinations to be announced in few days “

Meanwhile Senator Abiola Ajimobi has set up a committee to reconcile the aggrieved members of the party , and from the development there may be less work to do by the committee as most of the people who are aggrieved may leave the party

Prominent Among members of Unity Forum are, Minster of Communications, Barrister Adebayo Shittu, Chairman NITDA, Professor Adeolu AKande,  Alhaji Wasiu Olatunbosun,  Senator Monsurat Sumonu, Hon Dapo Lam Adesina, Hon Segun Ogunwuyi, Hon Bosun Oladele among others
