APC can’t match Accord in free and fair election-Ladoja

The National Leader of ACCORD, Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, has charged ACCORD members in Oyo State to respect party decision and ensure that they accommodate defectors from PDP, APC and other political parties.

Sen Rashidi Ladoja while speaking at the party stakeholders meeting held at the Party Secretariat Samonda  Ibadan on tuesday  also enjoined the party’s Chairmanship candidates for local government elections not to relent in their efforts to ensure that ACCORD emerges victorious in the forthcoming Local Government elections.

According to  a press statement signed by  Engr Akeem Olatunji ,Oyo State Publicity Secretary of Accord Party Ladoja  maintained that the delayed in the conduct of election Is one of the dubious antics of  Governor Ajimobi and APC

“The meeting  was for party members to be intimated with plans, decisions and strategies on how to be victorious in the 2019 general elections and the forthcoming Chairmanship and Counsellorship elections in the 68 LGA/LCDAs and Wards respectively in the State “

Sen Ladoja recounted how the efforts of dedicated members at the local government level helped the party achieved considerable success in the last election despite rigging and disenfranchisement of voters at ACCORD strongholds and vow that the party will use all constitutional and legal means to prevent a reoccurrence in subsequent elections in the state as APC is unmatched to ACCORD in a free and fair poll”.
The State party Chairman, Alh Wahab Oyelade, thanked the national leader, other party leaders and supporters for choosing him during the State Congress that produced the present crops of executives.
He also appealed to the party’s members to always cross-check fact from the party’s State office before hobnobbing with politicians in other parties as effort at accommodating politicians of like minds is the prerogative of the state leadership of the party.
Some of the party stalwart at the meeting includes  Sen Olufemi Lanlehin, Sen Gbenga Babalola, Bar Bayo Lawal, Hon Bimbo Adepoju, Chief Ogundiya, Hon Kehinde Oloya, House of Assembly member representing Ibadan North East state constituency, Hon Buniyaminu Azeez ,House of Assembly member representing Ona Ara State constituency, Alh Abidikugu, the State 1st Vice Chairman, Elder Laoye, State Vice Chairman 2, Chief Mrs Tegbhe, State Secretary, Dr Nureni Adeniran Aderemi, State Women Leader, Chief Mrs Yetunde Ajiboye, State Youth Leader, Asiwaju Adekola Adeoye, State Publicity Secretary, Engr Akeem Olatunji, State Financial Secretary, Alh Kasim, State Admin Secretary, Alh Bola Akinyemi and other party executives and leaders as well as all the Chairmen of the 33 local government chapters of ACCORD in Oyo State with the Chairmanship candidate for LG polls.
