The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State has announced Dr. Jamilu Ishiyaku Gwamna as its consensus governorship candidate for the 2027 general election.

The decision was reached during an enlarged stakeholders’ meeting presided over by the party leader in the state and Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.
At the meeting, party stakeholders also ratified consensus candidates for the state’s three senatorial districts, six House of Representatives seats, and 24 State House of Assembly constituencies.
The development signals the party’s early move to consolidate its structure and present a united front ahead of the 2027 polls.
