Another Prominent Yoruba Monarch Joins Ancestors After 56 Years on the Throne

Oba Samuel Olayode Adeyemi, The Olasoko of Isoko, Ogbomoso south joins his ancestors.

His demise was announced by one of his son Adesoye Kayode Olayode, who mournfully wrote: “It is hard now to say adieu baba mi, confidant and mentor. I have not recovered from the loss of my mum when you left again… I will miss you. Goodbye Oba Samuel Olayode Adeyemi Alasoko of Isoko, Ogbomoso.”

The oba died on Sunday 9th April at 87

The monarch who was born on December 6, 1936 at Makolokin a suburb area in Ifo Area of Ogun State.
was installed by the late Oba Olajide Olayode the Soun of Ogbomoso in October 1967.

His reign brought tremendous development to his domain in Isoko, Ogbomoso south and Ogbomoso zone in general through his cooperation with his co Monarchs.
