All arrangements have been concluded for the hosting of the third edition of the popular Akeem Kareem Foundation Lecture scheduled this Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the exclusive Jogor Events Center, Liberty Road, Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
This year’s edition of the event which starts by 11am, according to the organisers, will also witness the holding of the maiden Award of Excellence
The symposium titled, ‘Soro-Soke Generation: 2023 And The Way To Go’ will have Honorable Segun Ogunwuyi, the Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde as keynote Lecturer, while Professor Adeolu Akande, the Executive Chairman, Nigerian Communications Commission as the event’s Chairman, with Senator Dr Kola Balogun as the Special Guest of Honour and Honorable Ajibola Famurewa, the Executive Chairman, Osun SUBEB as the Distinguished Guest of Honour.
Other dignitaries expected at the one day symposium include the Olowu of Owu Kuta, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adekunle Oyelude Makama while Dr Yinka Ayefele, the Chairman/CEO, FreshFM Nigeria is the Chief Host of the event.
The symposium to be moderated by Professor Olu Ojedokun of the department of Political Science, Lead City University, Ibadan will have the following as personalities as discussants: Honorable Shina Peller, Founder, Lead Generation Initiative, Honorable Dr Abd Wasi Musah, Former Deputy Speaker, Oyo state House of Assembly, Dr Mutiu Agboke, Resident Electoral Commissioner, INEC, Oyo State, Mrs Bolanle Sarumi Alliyu, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Diaspora Matters, Honorable Sikiru Sanda, Chairman, Egbeda Local Government and Chairman, Oyo State ALGON, Mr Teju Ajibowo, Publicity Secretary, African Action Congress, Oyo State chapter, Mrs Yemi Taiwo Alabi, Mother, Journalist, Farmer, Entrepreneur and Values advocate .
The Host of the occasion will be the Founder, Akeem Kareem Foundation, Mr Olanrewaju Akeem Kareem (OAK) who is the Group Head, Human Resource and Administration, FreshFM Nigeria. He is also a Public Affairs Analyst and Passionate pro-youth individual.
