Algeria International Dies In Car Accident After Featuring For Country

Algeria international and USM Algiers midfielder Billel Ben Hamouda has died after he was involved in a tragic car accident on Thursday night.

His death was confirmed by the Algeria Football Federation of Ben Hamouda who featured mainly for the country’s home-based national team.

Ben Hamouda died in the accident while he was on his way back home after featuring in Thursday night’s friendly game for his country against DR Congo.

The 24-year-old was on the score sheet as the Algerian B team defeated the DR Congo 3-0.

Reacting to the tragic death top Algerian clubs USM Alger, sent their condolences to family of the deceased.

USM Alger wrote on Twitter:”The Capital Union administration extends sincere condolences to the Bin Hamouda family following the tragic death of their son Bilal. The administration asked Allah Almighty to bless the deceased with his mercy, place him in paradise and grant his family patience and solace.”
