A chieftain of the National Action Council, NAC in Ekiti state, Kolawole Akingbade has clinched the party’s ticket for Ekiti South Senatorial District.
Akingbade who emerged unopposed at a primary election held at Igbara Odo, in Ilawe Local Government area of Ekiti state was announced the winner of the election.
The primary election which had in attendance National Executives officers of the party and others witnessed large turn-out of party members and delegates.
Speaking at the venue of the Primary, the National Chairman of NAC, Hajiya Rabi Cengiz urged party members to come out en mass to vote for all candidates of NAC in the forthcoming election.
According to her, all the candidates the party is presenting for all political positions in the forthcoming elections are men and women of good integrity who will not disappoint party members and electorates if voted into power.
“All these people who have emerged as our candidates are men and women of integrity. I urge you all to cast your votes to the people who will represent you well.
I appeal to you all to give NAC candidates the chance to bring dividends of democracy to your doorsteps by voting for them. I know other parties will try to buy your votes with money; take their money but ensure that you vote for the right sets of people our party is presenting.
The venue of the primary had in attendance many party leaders and supporters of Kola Akingbade.
