The Iyaloja General of Oyo State, Princess Folashade Nurudeen Abeo, has commended Governor Seyi Makinde as he commissions the reconstructed Akesan market tomorrow.
Abeo Oosa as the Oyo-born business magnate is popularly called, said traders, especially those from the ancient town won’t forget the governor.
This was just as she thanked the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, for his continued support to traders within and outside the ancient town.
While enjoining traders to make good use of the reconstructed market, Abeo urged them troop out in large numbers to welcome the governor and his entourage.
It would be recalled that the market, built many years ago, had been razed by an early morning inferno on January 5, 2020.
