Prince Temitope Adebayo popularly know as Chef Tope is awaiting the confirmation as Record breaker for Longest Cooking Hours(individual) by Guiness World Record.
The Ogbomoso born chef cooked for 200 hours which lasted about 9 days at Ogbomoso recreation club.
He started on Thursday 9th November at 6:30 pm when he turned on the gas for cooking and ended on November 19th.
Chef Tope told National Insight that he did proper registration before he started the voyage and the date was approved by the GWR.
Fans and friends all over the world are awaiting the confirmation of status just like Maliha of Kenya who cooked for 150 hours.
Chef Tope surpassed the Irish chef Alan Fisher who was confirmed few weeks ago by the GWR after coocking for 119hrs and some minutes.
