Former Member of the House of Representatives, Chief Babatunde Oduyoye, has said the death of Hon. Temilola Segun Adibi, a former federal lawmaker and ex-Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government, left a deep vacuum in many circles within and outside Ogbomoso.

Oduyoye stated this while remembering the late politician exactly one year after his demise, describing Adibi as a brother, trusted friend and confidant whose life was defined by service, humility and commitment to peace.

He noted that Adibi’s passing on January 21, 2025 marked the end of what he described as a glorious era in the political and social life of Ogbomoso.

The two-term former lawmaker eulogised Adibi as a community-oriented leader, peace-lover and patriot who consistently placed the interest of his people above personal gain. According to him, the late politician earned respect across political divides through his inclusive leadership style and dedication to grassroots development.

Hon. Temilola Segun Adibi, who was born on April 30, 1960, died on January 21, 2025. He was laid to rest on March 22, 2025. One year after his death, tributes continue to pour in, reflecting the lasting impact of his life and service on the people he represented.

Meanwhile residents of Ogbomoso on Wednesday gathered in solemn reflection as a one-year remembrance prayer was held in honour of a former Member of the House of Representatives and ex-Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government, Hon. Temilola Segun Adibi.

The prayer session drew family members, political associates, community leaders and well-wishers who converged to celebrate the life and enduring legacy of the late lawmaker.

The event served not only as a moment of mourning but also as a tribute to Adibi’s contributions to governance, peace and grassroots development in Ogbomoso and beyond.
